SPANISH TIGHTS!!!
SHINING ON...Yes, yes yes!!! Spanish tights rules!!!
Well, as said... I wuz in Gothenburg, and when it happens to be Spanish fashion, I've got some genes that just can't say no to it... and then I discovered these wonderful shining Spanish tights... who would NOT stand with them?
Remember the SHINING face of the Swedish cashier and her soft voice when I bought them: "De var tuffa!" (they're terrific) and I could not help myself from smiling... completely satisfied.
Mmm... a male friend said they remembered "latex" but I just couldn't (and cannot) get the point... they're as far as far from that as it can be!
This is real SPRING feeling, my dear...
My only guessing is... okey when to party I know that it's hight heeled boots to them, but I'm not as sure when it's midday... mmm I've read that "skolette" is in, but I just keep trying... check both photos and compare... someone with a better opinion???
Think about it...
Meanwhile, I enjoy of my reading-at-home week at the university and I'll keep an eye on fashion. Keep upp with the gorgeous style!!!

I've been to Gothenburg and I've just got in love... again... with Spanish fashion. What a cutting, extremely good fitting, lovely lines: elegant, actual, gay... it's almost impossible not to love it. I'm just sooo happy, for now I've got a completely new wardrobe ;-)
I've checked my fav De la Renta, and both him and C. Herrera showed gourgeous creations in dreamlike fabrics, here can you see one of hers.
Back to Spanish Mango, I've checked this Spring07 collection (with wonderful Milla like front model as usual) and the main trends are:

Spring spring spring...
Yes, it's soon spring again... and I'm just packaging lots of stockings and other details in all thinkable fades of gray...
It's a wonderful time to start with the mind games about mixing possibilities: pastel blue, bright green, little yellow... it all works with grey.
Classic
Black and white made it this Fall 2006. Back to basics, classic... and a little bit boring? Mm. Maybe. Maybe not.
Remember that when I was teenager I wore black. A little bit too much. You know, that old "fashion rule" that states that black makes everything thinner. Well, now... I still believe it helps to make one thinner so longs it's not an extreme case ;-)
But something has happened after all these years. I'm afraid to hear it from myself... but... I'm afraid I've got tired of the colour. It's such a pitty because it's a symbol of the ultimate glamour and elegance.
But that fact does not affect, in any way, my wardrobe. There I keep my own collection of favourites in black, all from the classic short dress to a pair dozen tops in any possible size, style, ornaments, structure and sleevelength. They just are there in a little corner... so I decided to give the colour a try again, this time with winter white. And my God, how I enjoyed the mix... I just adore it!!!
This Fall 2006 had as strongest trends romantic & lace, bohem & dandy and tweed street chic. All three main trends wore a wide leather black belt or a slimmy snake-a-like in bright red or violet. To it add some gold and pearls... and magic is yours.
Bohem was my choice. I just love the dandy-feeling (yes, lite crazy but funny being a woman).
And I almost forget: the boots! high heeled with front lace and leggins or tight jeans make my day. Isn't it funny to play with fashion??? Just give it a try, test, choice the most comfy outfits, and enjoy!
A warmer fall
Yes, it's been quite warm in Sweden this year. All four seasons. I remember that in April I could travel to Kungälv without any jacket... and wearing only shorts! Later on, the summer months really rocked warmth. And after a pretty loooong late-summer period, we thought we could finally use those wonderful coats of us... "nej". This fall is the warmest I've experienced in my four years in the country. Mm. But even when everybody seems to panic with the environmental question, we cannot deny it is just wonderful to wear all those lovely pullovers and thin cardigans... At least, a much lighter outfit to wear...
Some of my favorites this fall:
- Snake design on beltsYes: they keep strong next year! A smart investment... so, buy it!
- Thin top + pulloverIsn't comfortably to wear light-weighed clothes???
- Tights or tight jeansMy only against-the-flow attitude is that I keep attached to my low waisted jeans. But if you like the ones with high waist, go for it! Fashion is not only beautiful: its meaning grows to the stars when is makes us feel comfortable.
Autumn ColoursYes, like every autum is high season for the dark tones right now. But I must confess I'm pretty happy to avoid the classical dark green-blue mix that feels so boring... thanks for the big colour palette this year delights our eyes with:-

Like my mom, I specially love belts and shoes, I just ADORE them! They make any outfit just special, unique.... so I plan to surf in the high fashion jungle and gottonow what's hot in the area... and yes, I will write about it here. So... keep reading this ;-)

Midwinter party dress
It happens every November: the only thought about
Christmas and
winter parties makes me nervous... and afraid! Yes... we who love fashion know that December is the red-black-and-gold month. But the question is: what's "in" 2006? I started by checking what the Latin stars wore during the Latin Grammy party... and I've got inspired!
Definitively, Thalia is gorgeous in gold but I think that dress would look even better -if possible- in the slim-spirit. Mm. Rocker queen Alejandra Guzman in black is just nice, perfectly
slim. And actress Catalina Sandino is just a blue angel. I'm not weak for "drappery" dresses but I love the color!
I will start checking the Spring trends in flower and graphic patterns, some time this week, it will surely warm up the approaching Swedish winter...

Plötsligt blev det så kallt att man behövde en björnskinn på sig... bildligt... MEN skall man bara till snabbköpet och postlådan, är det dunnjackan som gäller. Trist? Nej, praktiskt!
